Optical Flame Detector (IR4)

The optical flame detector is designed for the rapid detection of open flames in industrial processes with an increased risk of ignition.

The detector operates in the infrared spectrum and responds to characteristic fluctuations in flame radiation intensity, ensuring reliable detection of ignition sources at an early stage.

This type of detector is particularly effective in open or illuminated areas where the use of fiber optic solutions is limited.

Recommended Applications:

 Painting and drying booths

 Powder coating systems

 Industrial furnaces and drying units

 Open process areas

 Operations with increased ignition risk

Operating Principle

The detector identifies flames by analyzing infrared radiation in the range of approximately 900–2900 nm, enabling precise detection of open fire.

The system responds to dynamic changes in signal intensity, reducing the risk of false alarms and improving detection accuracy.
