System Control Unit

The control unit is the central component of the spark detection and extinguishing system. It receives signals from spark detectors, processes them, and manages the activation of the extinguishing system.

The controller ensures continuous system monitoring and coordinates the operation of all components. In the event of spark or hot particle detection, the control unit instantly activates the extinguishing system and can also trigger alarms or emergency shutdown of equipment.

Thanks to its modular design, the system can operate as a standalone solution for smaller installations or be integrated into centralized plant monitoring systems.

Operating principle

The control unit receives signals from spark detectors installed in air ducts or process channels.

When a detector identifies a spark or hot particle, the signal is transmitted to the control unit. After processing, the controller immediately performs the required actions:

 Activates the extinguishing system

Sends a signal to the alarm system

Can stop fans or process equipment

The control unit ensures synchronized operation of all system components and enables rapid elimination of ignition sources before they reach critical equipment.
