Earthing control - barrels
S604
When working with non-conductive liquids or powders, electrostatic charges often occur. These can accumulate on conductive objects such as drums, filling pipelines, tank trucks, rail tank wagons, and FIBC (big bag) containers.
Such charges are dangerous because they may lead to spark discharges, which in explosive atmospheres can cause ignition or even explosions.
Operating Principle
Resistive System (S604)
Detects low resistance of current flow through a metal object or stationary installation.
Designed for a wide range of applications: metal drums, carts, railway wagons, and other conductive structures..
Eliminates the risk of missing or poor grounding.
Conductive System (S804)
Intended for use with Type C FIBC (big bags).
Responds only to the target object — specifically the big bag.
Measures material conductivity and confirms that the bag meets safety requirements (especially when reused).
Using two clamps allows conductivity to be checked across the entire bag.

The system consists of a control unit, grounding clamp, and, if required, a cable reel.
Connection quality monitoring of the clamp.
Object recognition for grounding.
Safe dissipation of static electricity through the control unit, preventing sparks on the clamp.
Potential-free contact for managing loading and unloading functions.
Visual status indication.
Compliance with IEC 60079-32-1:2013 and NFPA 77:2014 standards.
