Spark Extinguishing System
The extinguishing system is designed for the immediate elimination of ignition sources after a spark or hot particle is detected within an air duct.
Once a signal is received from the spark detector, the control unit activates the extinguishing system, and nozzles inject water into the duct. The water spray rapidly cools and extinguishes the spark, preventing it from reaching process equipment.
The system is installed in air ducts, conveying channels, and other process areas where sparks may be transported by airflow.Operating principle
After a spark is detected, the signal is transmitted to the system control unit.
The control unit activates a solenoid valve, which opens the water supply to the nozzle. Water is sprayed into the duct, instantly extinguishing hot particles or sparks.
The system is equipped with a flow sensor, which monitors proper operation and confirms water discharge during activation.
