Test Device – ReConn01
The Safe-Ground ReConn01 test device is designed to verify the correct operation of Safe-Ground grounding and bonding systems. If the measurement results differ from expected values, this device helps identify the problem.
Safe-Ground grounding systems perform both resistive and capacitive measurements to ensure reliable grounding of the target object. Each type of grounding device has its own criteria for achieving this. Therefore, a single universal test device was developed, allowing testing across a wide range of systems.

Operating Principle
The ReConn01 contact point consists of two conductive parts separated by an insulator. By connecting a Safe-Ground series grounding rod, the entire system can be tested for proper operation both resistively and capacitively (for example, with the Safe-Ground TES01 truck system).
The device is equipped with two selector buttons: one for capacitive control and the other for resistive measurement. By turning these buttons from minimum to maximum, the set threshold values of Safe-Ground grounding control units can be verified.
ReConn01 is a passive device: without a connected grounding rod, it does not generate voltage or store energy. This makes it safe for use in ATEX zones.
Before use, carefully read the instructions for this test device and the corresponding grounding system to correctly interpret the results.
