TES01 (IP) (EX)
During loading and unloading of non-conductive liquids or powders from trucks, electrostatic charges may occur. If the accumulated energy reaches a critical level, there is a risk of explosion.
The TES01-V2 grounding control system is designed to safely connect the truck to the ground, preventing hazardous electrostatic discharges.
Operating Principle
The TES01-V2 system monitors the low electrical resistance between the terminals of the grounding clamp attached to the truck.
When resistance below the permissible value (< 100 Ω) is detected, the system safely discharges the electrostatic charge into the ground.
The electrical capacitance of the object is checked; if it matches that of a truck, a green light illuminates and loading or unloading is permitted.
The system continuously monitors the connection, preventing static charge buildup.
If the clamp is removed, a red light illuminates and the loading/unloading process is immediately interrupted via relay interlock.
The TES01 truck grounding system consists of a grounding control unit, grounding clamp, and cable or cable reel.
