VENTEX® Isolation Valve
Ventex valves prevent the propagation of dust explosions by blocking the blast wave and flame front. They are passive valves that close without the need for an external power source. Ventex valves are suitable for processes with low dust loads up to 50 g/m³ and are typically used to protect dryers, mills, filters, cyclones, and other equipment.
Operating Principle
In the event of an explosion, the Ventex valve closes instantly, isolating the flame front and blast wave, thereby preventing the explosion from spreading through the pipeline. Valves can be installed horizontally or vertically, are easy to maintain, and can be quickly reset after activation.
