Rubber-Fabric Belts

Rubber-Fabric Belts: Strength, Flexibility, Durability

BELTJET rubber-fabric belts are industrial solutions for bucket elevators and conveyors, designed for continuous handling of grain, processed products, oilseeds, and other bulk materials.

The multi-ply construction with a polyester-polyamide textile carcass provides high strength and stable performance under load. Depending on the operating conditions, belt versions are available with low elongation and resistance to fats, oils, abrasive wear, and high temperatures, as well as special versions for the food industry and potentially explosive atmospheres.

Key Features:

Low elongation — up to 0.8%
VLE — Very Low Elongation — belts ensure stable bucket elevator operation under continuous loads and reduce the need for frequent belt tension adjustments.
 High mechanical strength
The multi-ply textile carcass provides resistance to impact and cyclic loads.
 Resistance to fats and oils
Special belt versions are available for applications involving vegetable and animal fats, oilseeds, and materials containing mineral oils.
 High abrasion resistance
Special rubber covers protect the belt against intensive wear when handling abrasive materials.
 High-temperature operation
JET THERM heat-resistant versions with EPDM covers are designed for operation at elevated temperatures.
 Solutions for the food industry
Special belt versions are available for food processing and related industries.

Types of Coatings (JET Series):

JET OIL VLE — for environments involving oils and fats, with low elongation.
JET FLAM / FLAM VLE — flame-resistant versions.
JET FDA VLE — for food industry applications, with a white NBR cover.
JET ABRA — abrasion-resistant belts for applications involving intensive mechanical wear.
JET THERM — heat-resistant belts with EPDM covers, suitable for temperatures up to +150 °C.

Safety and Standards Compliance:

ISO 284 — antistatic properties designed to reduce the risk of electrostatic charge accumulation.
ISO 340 — requirements for flame resistance and self-extinguishing properties of conveyor belts.
EN 12882 Category 2A — special belt versions for ATEX dust Zones 21 and 22.
EN 12882 Category 2B — special belt versions for ATEX dust Zones 20, 21, and 22.
INERIS — production control and annual audits for special Category 2B belt versions.
Belt selection is based on the conveyed material, operating temperature, exposure to fats and oils, abrasiveness, and the ATEX classification of the installation area.
